I grew up in the most thrilling of family businesses: manufacturing baby mattresses. (Shoutout, Colgate Kids.) My contribution? Writing every single mattress description, mastering the descriptive phrases of "viscoelastic memory foam" and "coconut husk fibers.”

 

I've had a few jobs — and lived in a few countries — since then, including teaching as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: my ability to make everyday concepts come alive through storytelling. I've made students care about English puns. Helped consumers understand pest control. Empowered employees to own "company culture." And today, I'm focused on causes near to my heart: social impact, digital equity, AI upskilling, sustainability, and more.
